PC HOCKEY RESULTS 2008 The annual inter-branch hockey tournament was held at Queens College, Taunton on December 21st; nine junior and thirteen senior teams took part and the competition was hot even if the weather was not. Our junior team of Jess Mortimer, Charlotte Long ,Harriet TB, Daisy Williams, Henry Coate, Charlotte Filkin and Abi Porter were 2nd, the best Quantock result for years! Two senior teams consisting of Lucy and Freddie Barker, Jamie Courtney, Tess and Lydia Rosling, Fi Pascall, Jess Long, Emily Brown, Emma TB, Lucy Courtney, Fern Bentley, and a couple of kind friends played brilliantly but were beaten out of the final four. Final Results: Juniors - 1st - Cotley 2nd Quantock 3rd Taunton Vale Harriers 4th Dulverton West North Molton Seniors 1st TVH B 2nd TVH A 3rd Devon and Somerset A 4th South and West Wilts Thanks to Queens for allowing us to use their pitches, the Refs who give up a valuable shopping day to run round in the cold, and all the helpers.
