Avon Vale PC Team Show Jumping, 30th December '04

This competition was held at West Wilts EC, Trowbridge on the 30th December 2004. We were represented by one team in Class 3 (14 years & under). The team consisted of Jamie Courtney, Nicola Perry and Sam Gray. They all rode really well over a difficult and complicated two-phase course. There were 17 teams in this class, of which the standard was extremely high. Nicola rode first and had 4 faults, Sam had a wonderful double clear, followed by Jamie having 4 faults. The team finished on a score of 8. Well done to all.

Wyle Valley Pony Club Team Show Jumping, November 20th '04

We had 3 teams and 3 individuals entered in the competition on 20/11/04 at The Hand EC.The team of 10 yrs and under finished on a score of 0 and were placed 5^th and consisted of Jessica Mortimer, Abbey Porter, Henry Coate and Alex Galbraith. With Abbey winning the best turned out. Tilly Barker was in a team with the Weston Harriers and was placed 3^rd. Lucy Courtney rode as an individual. The team of 12 yrs and under (Charlotte Long, Jessica Long, Emma Trollope-Bellew and Freddie Barker) also finished on a score of 0 and were just beaten by 2 seconds into second place, with Freddie Barker placed 5^th individually. Rebecca Furber also rode as an individual. The team in the 15 yrs and under (Sam Gray, Freddie Thompson, Nicola Perry and Jamie Courtney) again finished on a score of 0 and won in style 17 seconds ahead of the second placed team. Jamie was 6^th individually and Freddie won the individual competition. 

I would like to congratulate all the members who took part. This was a fantastic achievement by them all. Also, thank you for everyone's high spirits on such a cold and dismal day.
