TAUNTON VALE PC TEAM SHOWJUMPING

AT PONTISPOOL 27 MAY 2006

We had 8 teams entered for this competition. It ended up being a very long and tiring day as it ran well behind schedule.

Class 1 Minis total 17 teams

Quantock Blue (Abbi Porter, Amelia Daniel, Emma Perry & Alex Galbraith) finished on 4 faults and gained team 6th with Abbi getting 3rd individual. Abbi and Amelia both rode double clears

Quantock Pink (Ryan Dudridge, Daisy Williams & Cressida Cox) Finished on 12 faults with Ryan and Cressida riding double clears.

Quantock Orange (Laura Kyd, Cressida Cox & Harriet T-B) Unfortunately had to retire.

Class 2 Juniors attracted 22 teams altogether.

Quantock Purple ( Nicky Perry, Abbi Porter, Jess Mortimer & Cressida Cox kicked off the day finishing on 8 faults, with Jess riding a double clear.

Quantock Green (Abbi Porter, Alex Galbraith, Charlotte Perry &Emma T-B) Finished on 0.With Charlotte punching the air on finishing after leaving the last fence pole in the cup, and Alex both riding double clears.

Quantock Red (Amelia Daniel, Bobbi Larcombe, Emma T-B & Katie Gibbs finished on 16 faults with Amelia and Emma both riding double clears.

Quantock Yellow (Isla Ness, Cressida Cox, Rachel Kyd & Iona Tilley) unfortunately being eliminated, but Cressida rode a double clear.

Class 3 Seniors

Quantock team were left with only 2 members so were joined by 2 members of other clubs. They finished on 20 with Josie Moore gaining 2nd individual.
