BANWELL PC TEAM SHOWJUMPING COMP @ THE HAND 28th OCT 06
There was a huge turnout for this competition and we had 9 teams entered in total. Starting at 8.30am was Class 1 and we had 2 teams entered.Quantock yellow (Ryan Dudridge,Daisy Williams,Laura Kyd & Jade Coles) finished on 4. Quantock Blue (Harriet T-B,Emma Perry,Abbi Porter & Patrick Daniel) finished on 0 winning team 3rd with Abbi coming 2nd individual. With Harriet,Emma,Abbi,Patrick,Ryan & Laura all jumping double clears.
Class 2 We had 3 teams in this class out of a total of 17 entered, Quantock Red (Emma Perry, Cressida Cox, Henry Coate & Kitty Monks) finished on 0 with Emma and Henry jumping double clears. Quantock Orange (Katie Gibbs, Ryan Dudridge, Cressida Cox & Emma T-B) finished on 0 with Cressida and Emma jumping double clears. Quantock Green (Jess Mortimer, Abbi Porter, Tilly Barker & Amelia Daniel) finished on 0 with Jess and Amelia jumping double clears. Eleanor Daniel rode a double clear as an individual HC. All 3 teams we unplaced but did well to all finish on a 0 score.
Class 3 We had 3 teams in this class out of a total of 22 entered Quantock Pink(Emma T-B, Jess Mortimer, Abbi Porter&Sam Gray) finished on a score of 0 with Jess, Abbi & Sam all riding Double clears. Quantock White (Cressida Cox, Henry Coate, Emma T-B & Charlotte Perry) finished on a score of 0 with Henry & Charlotte both riding double clears. Quantock Silver (Rowena Gaukroger, Cressida Cox, Bobbi Larcombe & Rebecca Furber) finished on a score of 0 with Rowena, Bobbi & Rebecca all jumping double clears. All 3 teams were unplaced but did well to all finish on 0 score. Class 4 Dengie We only had 1Quantock Member left in this class of 62 entries it was so late all the other Quantock members decided not to stay. Fiona Pascall rode Echo and Muppet (HC), she was placed 4th on Muppet. Class 5 Fiona Pascall and Josie Moore joined to other individual members from other pony clubs to make a team and won this class.
Well done to all members who took part in this competition and you should all be very proud of yourselves.
