TERATHLON REPORT

AREA TETRATHLON July 28/29^th at Sherborne; Run by Area 14

The Senior girls team (Tess Rosling, Josie Moore, Fiona and Beth Pascall) won and qualified for the championships; actually they were the only team in Area 15! But they did get the Pip Bugg trophy for the best score in areas 15 and 16.

Cressida Cox also competed in the mini girls.

INTER REGIONAL TET at Necarne castle, Northern Ireland, August 10/12^th

Three members of QPC,  Beth, Josie and Lydia Rosling, were representing the South Westin the girls team, along with Alice Mills of the South Devon Moorland and Freya Carlson from the Dartmoor and a team of boys. The horses enjoyed luxurious stabling after a long journey and we were well entertained by the Irish! The girls came a close 2^nd to N. Ireland and Lydia did brilliantly to win the individual girls.

TETRATHLON CHAMPIONSHIPS at Hartpury, Aug 17/19^th 

The atmosphere was more relaxed than last year, the problems with the XC had been addressed, and we were used to being rained on all the time so a good time was had by all. The team of Tess, Josie, Beth and Fi came a good 7^th despite not having Lydia in it ( she qualified at a different Area).

FUTURE DATES  will be decided at the area 15/16 AGM  and will be on the website or emailed to anyone interested.

Devon and Somersety PC triathlon at Wellington on Jan 7th:

The mini boys teams of Henry Coate, Ben Price, Matt Seabourne and Tom Martin were 5th; and Chris Roberts, Oliver Burton, Ryan Duddridge and Patrick Daniels were 6th. The mini girls Laura Kyd, Jessica Mortimer, Daisy Williams and Abi Porter were also 6th. In the seniors Lydia Rosling was 2nd and Beth Pascall 4th.
